Rates, Incentives and Account Management

Business Rate Plans:
- Interruptible Program – Save about 25% off your bill by earning credits toward your monthly electric bill when you allow Tampa Electric to temporarily reduce or turn off your power during high energy-use periods such as extreme hot or cold weather.
- Standby Generator Program – Save about 12% on your bill with monthly bill credits earned for allowing us to use your standby generator to supply power to your facility when needed. If we don't issue a request, you still get credit.
- Time-Of-Use Program – Save about 1.5% on your bill if you have a high load factor and can shift much of your energy use to certain off-peak hours.
Business Incentives:
- Economic Development Rider - This incentive offers tiered discounts if your business employs at least 25 full-time staff and maintains a peak demand of 350 kilowatts for five years.
- Commercial Industrial Service Rider - This incentive can be modified to provide discounts and customized terms for large customers maintaining a connected load of 500 kilowatts.
