The University of South Florida (USF) College of Engineering’s 53rd Annual Engineering Expo was an absolute blast! Curious minds of all ages explored the exciting world of STEM through TECO’s interactive displays and hands-on activities.
As the main corporate sponsor, Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas team members — many USF alumni — were thrilled to connect with future engineers, scientists and innovators, to showcase the tools and technology that keep electricity and natural gas flowing safely into the communities we serve.
From pedal-powering light bulbs and a gas distribution display to a thermal-imaging station, an electric truck and kids exploring the tools that keep Tampa Electric’s grid running safely and reliably.
